Ever wondered who’s leading our service, support and training team at Bitpool? Meet Ash Abdullrabzak the man who is turning complex data headaches into lightbulb moments for our partners and clients.
Q: What do you love most about your role today?
My title is Manager - Partner Mobilisation and Training. That means I’m helping clients and partners get value from Bitpool quickly and confidently.
I love that my work is so tangible. Someone comes in overwhelmed with data, unsure what to do. I build a demo dashboard or show them how to structure their pages, and suddenly they get it. Those “aha” moments are the best.
I also like that I’m the bridge between the client and partner experience and our development team. I use Bitpool every day, my fingerprints are in every part of the platform, and that’s satisfying.
Q: What do you think sets Bitpool’s service and training apart?
Speed and relationships. With big platforms, you log a support ticket and wait weeks for a reply. With us, you get a real answer fast. We keep things human, and we know the names and stories of the people we’re supporting.
We also don’t overwhelm new users with every feature on day one. We start broad, get them comfortable, then build up to advanced dashboards, AI tools, and reporting. It makes training stick and scales better and faster.
Q: What’s the most fun adventure you’ve had at Bitpool?
I recently went over to the UK and spent six weeks embedded with one of our partners to help them onboard, train and configure the system in a way that added instant value to their business and for their clients. I also got to play a bit of golf, experience some sunshine and travel with my wife after we’d finished the program.
Q: You’ve mentioned AI.
AI is a game-changer when the data is structured right. My job is helping partners tag and template correctly so AI can answer meaningful questions to drive and integrate systems or draft compliance reports instantly.
In the future, training will be modular, self-serve, with me jumping in for short, focused touchpoints. Think: 30-minute kickoff, learn at your pace, then a 30-minute Q&A to troubleshoot real-world problems. That’s scalable, flexible, and partner-friendly.
Q: What are the things about Bitpool user should know?
I think it’s the crazy features that we have. When I show people the AI, they get their socks blown off because it’s so new, and also because it’s so effective, and it’s actually shocking how easy it is. There are so many tools and configurations.
Q: So you can connect it and make it your own?
Yes, all of the functionality is accessible to everyone, regardless of the age or brand of system. The connectors are so diverse that everyone can connect their systems to Bitpool and unleash the power of the data they already own and has often been stagnating for years.
Old thinking means people see traditional BMS and monitoring sub systems are independent – now our AI means that’s no longer the case. It’s absolutely revolutionary for our industry.
Q: What keeps you motivated at Bitpool after all these years?
Curiosity. I can’t leave a problem half-solved. I always want to know why a number is spiking, or what pattern sits underneath. That mindset has kept me hooked on buildings and data.
Also the culture here at Bitpool is awesome. We’re still agile enough to adapt quickly, and the people here make work enjoyable every single day.
Q: And outside of work — what does life look like?
Golf is a big love. I play a lot, and luckily my wife does too, so it’s something we share. I’m also into gaming, though she hasn’t been converted yet! That balance, golf, gaming, and time with my wife keeps me grounded.
Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Never stop asking questions until you find an answer that makes sense. Whether it’s data, buildings, or life in general, curiosity is what drives better outcomes.
